1st Day with a New Baby

They say you never really get quite used to having a new baby. Well, they said it right! *pats new baby* It’s taking me ages to get used to this one and its different functions! So much so that Paris threatened not to help me anymore after the millionth “Eh, how do you do…??” question! There are still little bugs running around and it’s ironical to be at a loss of words when I finally have my own little blog but *fingers crossed* we’ll get there!

Of bubs and babies, I carried a friend’s little 6 month-old over the weekend. She apparently loves looking at people so when she decided that I wasn’t holding her high enough for her to look over my shoulder, she started bouncing up and down in little baby jumps and stopped only when I lifted her higher! Hehe..intelligent bubs these days! Must be the result of those horribly expensive intelligence-enhanced milk!

Have you ever noticed that babies have little holes in their little fat hands for knuckles? And have you ever noticed that babies are born with perfect sight and the softest zero-pore skin? I wonder where it all goes when we grow up! I don’t mind having baby skin!

You have a pretty gorgeous new baby for sure!

It took me a while to figure out what you were going on about in your last paragraph. Holes in hands? Perfect eyesight? I could imagine the zero-pore skin though! Ah, smooth as a baby’s butt!

Aw..thanks LB! Holes in hand…you know how babies’ hands are always very fat that their knuckles become little holes? Go look at the next baby’s hands you come across!

Yeah, where does the zero-pore skin go to when we grow up?

If only I knew where zero-pore skin went! Sigh!!

And yes, I know about the “holes” of chubby bubs’ hands. All 8 of them - how come the thumb has none?
I miss those poreless skin too :((

The only structure in a baby’s body that does not grow much in relation to the other structures are its eyeballs!

Pinkelle says: You kid me not?! :O
