Run, run as Fast as You Can
Sometimes I wonder what I get myself into!
I’ve been hopping on and off planes for the past 3 weeks, missing my weekly yoga classes which I love, not been having enough rest and falling sick in the entire process. But for some reason, I came back last weekend and BOOM - This coming weekend is going to see pale weakling me do two super-active sports consecutively!
First, I agreed to go with sis on a white-water rafting trip! The last time I attempted my hand at white-water rafting was when I was a spring chicken *ahem* student in my Uni years. We did it over the rapids in Cairns and it was truly an experience although I made very sure I didn’t get dunked into the water! Yes, I’m a bit of a wet blanket
I am looking forward to it, though, and hopefully these ol’ unexercised bones can take the rapids this time! Hehe…
I also agreed to go for a 5km run in Putrajaya on Sunday morning organised by Pacesetters Malaysia although I haven’t exercised in ages! This one I’m pretty apprehensive about because I hate running, I cannot run and was just intending to brisk walk which means I may probably be the last weakling coming in at the end of the morning! Oh, the humiliation if that happens! But let’s see how this one goes. Will try to do as great a post as KennySia did for his Penang Bridge Marathon! Ah May, you’re right, it’s time I get a disposable camera!!
So, here I am, geared up for a super-charged weekend ahead when all I was looking forward to was a lie-in to recharge my batteries! Wish me luck and hopefully I make it!
Run, run, as fast as you can,
You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man…
- I Made It!
- Save the Polars!
- A Rope Between Me and Death
- Annual Leave
- I’m in Kazakhstan

Wow… I think I could only attempt one super-active activity per month, let alone two consecutive days! But yeah, do update us on how it goes…
