Don’t Stalk Me!

Don’t you hate it sometimes when you speak to someone random you haven’t spoken to in a long time and the person seems to know so much about what’s been happening in your present life? It totally freaks me out.
I used to have a old handphone number which I hadn’t used in many years after I got a company one. I gave that number to Mom and recently on a whim, I checked her phone to see if I got any messages still going to that number. Lo and behold! Saw one from an ex-colleague I hadn’t spoken to in at least 3-4 years, asking to meet up. So I messaged him back to let him know my new number and suggested a meet up sometime if he was around the area.
Last night I got a message from him updating me where he was now and asked which company I was with with a little list of some companies I used to work with. The shocking thing was, in that list, he had included a prospective company that I was recently contemplating joining but didn’t end up going to. How the heck did he even know about it when I hadn’t seen him in ages? Unless one of my mutual friends spilled? And I know if I were to ask him about it, he’ll say, “Oh a little bird told me”
Argh…don’t you hate secretive people who seem to know what’s happening in your life? I definitely do.
*whew* Monday morning rant out of the way. Now I can get on with my week

I stalk your blog, does that count? LOL! I know what you mean by other people knowing too much info. I should start restricting what I put up on my Facebook profile…

Hehehe… I stalk your blog too! But if I’m not particularly close to ex-colleagues, they know nuts about my current life. LOL!

I was not even close to this ex-colleague which was why he totally freaked me out with that name of the prospective company! Hardly anyone knew about that company!
Some cheek! *freak out mode on* your incidence brings me to why I reverted to “network/contacts only” mode in my Multiply …and not post anything on my Facebook
