Hari Raya Bliss
*Whoosh* It’s back to work again after a luxurious 4 day holiday in conjunction with the Hari Raya holidays. Despite my constant complaining that I was wasting 4 good days of holidays by not going anywhere, I did manage to keep myself rather occupied and this is what I’ve learnt (Hey, everything’s a new learning experience!) over the 4 days!
-
My silly Facebook fluffy pet will only eat terribly expensive things such as pink cupcakes! It thinks pork buns are
and bananas are vile! It is so not me sans the pink on the cupcake!

-
When you watch too many Simpsons DVDs, you start feeling a little stupid! And in my case, start over-analyzing Homer Simpson! Conclusion: He’s really stupid but has a good heart!

-
Pig-out didn’t even begin to describe what I ate over the entire 4 days! From spartan meals such as baked beans with scrambled egg to pork knuckle, keropok, Kin Kin Pan Mee and a sumptuous Korean spread, I so pigged out! *attempts to breathe*
-
This was my first time being in town during a festive season and what they say about playing football on the streets are almost true! So we took the opportunity to visit the Pavilion. Verdict: It’s okay with lots of swanky brands but I didn’t quite like the feel of it and the crowds. We hopped into Starhill after Pavilion and what a marked contrast it was! Starhill was all about dim lights and elegance while Pavilion felt like a marketplace! Given the option of buying a Ferragamo in Pavilion or Starhill…no prizes for guessing which I’ll choose! That is, when my Ferragamo boat comes in!

-
In a pathetic attempt to shave off some calories from that terrible pig-out session, I got into some exercise gear to try to hit the gym. Opened the door and guess what, I couldn’t find my ancient pair of running shoes! It probably got thrown away for being too old
So no prizes again for guessing what’s tops on the shopping list the next time the sales come around! -
And finally lots and lots of sleep to make up for all that lost sleep and to deposit more into my sleep bank for long nights ahead! I’m such a party animal *not*!
Hope you had a great break too! I’m looking forward to the next one, Deepavali and Christmas!

Well, you seem to have done a whole lot more than me. I just slept. 24/7. - Sleeping Ugly -
PE says: Welcome home, LL
I would be sleeping a lot too after that fantastic trip to UK!
You’re on Facebook? Add me! Add me! Oh, but I’m listed under my real name, so email me if you wanna, k?
PE says: Yes, I have been Facebooking but erm…am also listed under my real name!
Btw, you mean your name isn’t Rinnah?! LOL!
I think I commented in the wrong post. That is what happens when one is old!
You have Facebook? I have invited you. The photos of the pan mee and keropok (?) made me hungry. Can’t get decent keropok here.
PE says: Haha…yes I got your invite! Let’s start a Scrabble game together!
Yes, it’s keropok. Am sure you can get the non-fried ones in Chinatown? I do recall seeing some the last time I was there.
I’ll like to feed your rabbit some cupcakes!!!
PE says: Hi DR!
